Tune into Talk Credit Radio this week with Credit.com’s personal finance expert Gerri Detweiler, live from 4-5 ET/1-2 PT on WSRQ.

Options for Underwater Homeowners

Real estate attorney Anne Weintraub and real estate professional John Scherden join Gerri Detweiler to help listeners who are underwater on their homes. Following up on Gerri’s popular series for Credit.com, Underwater on Your Home? Your Six Options, they will discuss foreclosures and short sales. Joe Kelly of YouCanRefi.com will also join the program to explain how to refinance under the Home Affordable Refinance Program.

Anne L. Weintraub is a shareholder in the Sarasota-based firm of Band Weintraub, P.L. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate closings for the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate property, title insurance, and foreclosure avoidance. She also assists clients with short sales, loan modifications, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and purchasing bank-owned properties while negotiating work-out agreements with lenders.

John Scherden has been an full-time real estate professional for the past 11 years, working with buyers and sellers in Florida. He has earned the Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource certification and has assisted distressed property owners.
