Cash Rules … and So Does the Debit Card

A new Credit.com survey asked 1,011 consumers about their usual method of payment for typical purchases.  The survey found that cash is still king, with 40 percent of respondents using that as their preferred method of payment.  The debit card was nearly equally popular, used most often by 39 percent.  Credit cards came in a distant third as the go-to payment option for 21 percent of the respondents.
